F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Romans and Countrymen…oops, wrong salutation! But it is cheeky! Just like Joey and Phoebe’s humour!
We love F.R.I.E.N.D.S., you love them and this sitcom has given us a series so beautiful that we can’t help but see each character as a part of our real life. Come on, are you telling us you’ve never compared your real-life friends to these six F.R.I.E.N.D.S.?
We at TagMango are hugeee fans of the show and couldn’t help but wonder if F.R.I.E.N.D.S. was set in our TagMango-verse, they would definitely have so many skills they could monetise. So we took the creative liberty and imagined what these friends will be good at and which skills would they monetise individually. Let’s go!
1. Chandler Bing
If you have watched the show closely, you will know Chandler was into statistical analysis and data reconfiguration. While it is a skill Chandler can definitely monetise we know he didn’t quite enjoy working in that sector. Later, he bags a job as a Junior Copywriter, so could it BE anymore evident that he would teach people how to become a copywriter or how to use humour in razor-sharping ad copies? We think not!
Mr Bing with his humour armour on is the best man suited for the job and would definitely earn big bucks monetising this skill.
2. Phoebe Buffay
So, in the series, we have seen that Phoebe was a massage therapist and she was also a musician – duh! Who can forget Smelly Cat?! This pure soul either could teach folks about aromatherapy or how to be a great masseuse or she could teach people lyric writing. All of Phoebe’s songs were too damn entertaining, so maybe she would teach that!
But there are so many skills we can think our little miss Buffay could monetise. Like, she pretty much nailed the slow living concept and how to be a vegan, she was amaze at resolving conflicts other friends had, she was fluent in French or Italian, and so much more. So, we think she could monetise not one but multiple skills.
3. Monica Geller
Now this one’s a given! Monica would certainly kill it when it comes to teaching the art of staying organised. This is definitely apart from being an ace chef. She could teach baking, making entrees, how to make the perfect turkey on Thanksgiving and so much more. She could even do a session on kitchen organisation and also how to become a taster. Think food, think Monica! *winks*
4. Ross Geller
While his full-time job was that of a palaeontologist, Ross is someone who speaks English in the correct and efficient manner. So either he could teach how to speak with emphasis or he could hold multiple sessions on diction and correct pronunciation. And since he is also a professor later on in the series, he could definitely hold a bunch of seminars and workshops on topics related to history, anthropology and palaeontology.
5. Rachel Green
Umm, while we would never see Rachel be a good waitress, we would definitely see her monetise her fashion acumen and hold a workshop or a seminar on how to become a stylist. Ladies, we are definitely envious of Rachel’s wardrobe, we wouldn’t be surprised if Rachel goes on and becomes a Fashion Influencer (or someone who messes up marriages? Don’t kill us, please for saying this – we will go on a “break” now)! Then, not only styling tips, but Rachel could also teach people the tropes of being a Fashion Content Creator.
6. Joey Tribbiani
Pretty obvious, we think! Since Joey is a struggling actor for pretty much the whole series, he could teach a thing or two about acting. Right from voice modulation to how to nail an audition to how to handle rejection and how to emote, Joey could teach any of these skills. But a soft skill, in an alternate world, Joey could monetise would be how to be an amazing friend. He has the biggest heart and is so precious. People can learn how to be a great friend from Joey!
So, could this BE any more apt?
At TagMango, each and every skill can be monetised. If these F.R.I.E.N.D.S. characters can monetise these skills, then what’s stopping you? Come become a Creator on TagMango and start monetising your skills!
