1. Tata Tea hosted India’s 1st Metaverse Holi Party
Metaverse presents itself with so much opportunity and Tata Tea Premium made its debut in the metaverse! They hosted India’s very first Metaverse Holi Party. The two-day event was held on March 18 and 19. Attendees donned their favourite avatars and played holi virtually along with a bunch of games. There was also a festive performance lined up by composer and lyricist duo Sachet Tandon and Parampara Tandon.

2. You can now download and share your idea pins on Pinterest!
Pinterest has recently announced that its users can now download and share published Idea Pins on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. These will be shared as a watermarked video which will have the Idea Pins displayed in it, with the end plate bearing the creator’s name and username.

3. Canva has a bunch of new updates
The much-loved design tool, Canva has released a bunch of new updates. First off, they have added Tables. Yes, you can now add tables to your designs. Then, they have officially launched on Slack. It is easy for any teammate to tag you in a comment or share the design and a Slack notification will pop up!
Another amazing news is that you can now add video filters to Canva’s video recorder. This will help you make your videos cool-er!
Also, dark mode is here and so is the new design import option.

4. Facebook is locking out its users
Those users who have not activated Facebook Protect have lost access to their own accounts or are soon going to lose access. Facebook launched Facebook Protect in 2021 which is an added layer of security for people who can be targeted by malicious hackers. The last day to enable Facebook Protect was March 17, 2022. Many users who dismissed Facebook’s emails regarding the same as Spam have lost access to their accounts.

5. Instagram Live gets Moderators
Now anyone going live can add a live moderator. The moderator can report comments, remove viewers and also turn off comments from a specific viewer. This feature is much-needed and will help combat trolls and uncalled for comments in Instagram lives.
The host can choose the moderator of any live by tapping on three dots and choosing from a list of suggested accounts, or even by searching the username. Cool, na?
